PETER D. SUDLER

Peter D. Sudler is the Chairman and CEO of Sudler Companies. After serving as Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York for 12 years, Mr. Sudler has been leading the firm for more than thirty years, carrying the business into its third generation of family management. Consistent with the company’s legacy, the fourth generation of Sudler family management has taken an active role in the operations of the company, with Peter Sudler’s sons Brian Sudler and Daniel Sudler joining the company in 2018 and 2019.

With a Legacy that reaches back four generations and more than 100 years, the family-owned and operated Sudler Companies includes a broadly skilled team with deep and diverse experience, some with tenures at the firm exceeding 40 years. Additionally, Sudler entities are invested in more than 50 multi-family properties nationally.

Eileen Sudler

General Counsel

Eileen FitzGerald Sudler is General Counsel of Sudler Companies.

She obtained her law degree from NYU. Following Eileen’s service as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, she engaged in general civil and litigation practice in both New York and New Jersey.

Sudler Companies have the benefit of Eileen’s 45 years of legal experience, including 25 years of specialization in transactional real estate.

Daniel Sudler

Principal

Dan manages finance and acquisitions as a Principal of Sudler Companies.

He spent 5 years working as an asset manager in the multi-family development sector in Northern New Jersey after receiving his M.S. in Real Estate Development from NYU. Prior to that he served in the United States Marine Corps.

In January of 2019, Dan made the transition over to Sudler Co. He will be responsible to continue the legacy and build upon the family-owned and operated portfolio.

Brian Sudler

Principal

Brian is a principal in the fourth generation of the Sudler Companies. He brings with him a wealth of leadership and management experience accrued over a 15-year career with the United States Army Special Forces.

In addition to managing development projects both in and out of NJ, Brian oversees the enhancement of business operations and functions within the various departments of The Sudler Companies. He is committed to continuing the tradition of honesty and hard work, the very essence of the name Sudler.

Allan Cohen

Chief Financial Officer

Allan Cohen is the Chief Financial Officer of The Sudler Companies overseeing all financial operations. Allan has over 25 years of experience as a Chief Accounting Officer, Controller / Assistant Controller, Securities and Exchange Commission Fellow and Auditor. Allan has experiences leading groups in acquisition and divestiture transactions, financial statement preparation and consolidation (including shared services), implementing new systems, automating processes and finance operations. Allan is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from Yeshiva University.

Larry Schiffmann

Executive Vice President of Finance

Larry received a BA in Mathematics from Yeshiva University and an MBA in accounting from NYU. After a distinguished 33-year career at JH Cohn, Larry joined Sudler in 2006 as CFO.

Larry is a Certified Public Accountant in NJ and NY. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A member of the NJ Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Member of FM Global NY Advisory Board.

Steve Spinweber

Executive Vice President of Real Estate Operations and Development

Steven C. Spinweber is Executive Vice President of Real Estate Operations and Development. Mr. Spinweber’s responsibilities include all asset preservation/enhancement functions; land management, coordination of applications, permits & approvals; investment, acquisitions and development analysis; ad valorem tax analysis/appeals; contract bidding; development implementation; brokerage and leasing. Mr. Spinweber is the Broker of Record for Samson Realty Corp, the real estate brokerage arm of the Sudler Companies.

Mr. Spinweber holds the CRE Designation from the Counselors of Real Estate. He is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Planner and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is also a New Jersey Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, a New Jersey Certified Tax Assessor, a senior designated member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers/American Society of Appraisers and a New Jersey Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Tom Nichols

Vice President of Construction and Property Management

Tom is the Vice President of our Construction and Property Management divisions.

He began his career with the Sudler Companies in January 1973, working in the field, as an assistant Job Superintendent. Throughout the years he has become certified in numerous construction/property management programs and continued to climb the company ladder within the Sudler organization, becoming Vice President of Construction and Property Management, twenty five years ago.

Tom guides all New Construction, Capital Improvements, Tenant Improvement, Building Management and Estimates for the Sudler Properties along with his experienced staff.

Ruth Friedman

Vice President of Finance/Controller

After graduating from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Business Education and minoring in Accounting, Ruth decided that teaching was not for her. She continued her education at Seton Hall University earning the credits necessary to obtain a major in accounting. She worked in public accounting for three years during which time her client list included the Sudler Companies. She was offered a job as an Internal Auditor and her career at Sudler began. During the ensuing forty plus years and working with three generations of the Sudler family, she has progressed through the ranks and is currently the executive in charge of the Accounting, Information Technology and Administrative Departments.

Jeff Hale

Vice President of Leasing

Jeff serves as Vice President – Leasing, bringing over twenty-five years of commercial and industrial leasing and development experience with the company encompassing the tenant improvement and project management processes. He has also led the marketing programs and tenant retention campaigns over the years.

Jeff has a degree in Business Administration from Wittenberg University and a Project Management Certification from County College of Morris.
